6. Ryan Phillippe (Anakin Skywalker)
Ryan Phillippe, like many other Hollywood actors, was considered for the role of the young Jedi Anakin Skywalker. Phillippe auditioned and was quite interested in the project, but for reasons unknown even to him, he did not get the role. As a result, Anakin was played by Hayden Christensen.
7. Bert Reynolds (Khan Solo)
Another contender for the role of captain of the Millennium Falcon was the famous 70s actor Burt Reynolds. The studio offered Reynolds the role, but due to a conflict in the filming schedule, the actor refused. 8. Christopher Lee (grand-moff Tarkin)
Film and theater veteran Christopher Lee has played numerous roles, but for some reason, when he was offered a role in the upcoming space saga, he turned it down. However, Toshiro Mifune refused the role of a space samurai.
