The authorities in the USA are expecting the first corona vaccinations as early as mid-December. “Our plan is to be able to deliver the vaccines to the vaccination centers within 24 hours of approval,” said the head of the US government’s vaccine working group, Moncef Slaoui, the broadcaster CNN.

According to media reports, the US drug agency FDA will decide on the approval of corona vaccines between December 8 and 10. Slaoui said he was expecting the first vaccinations “perhaps on the second day after approval, on December 11 or 12”.

The pharmaceutical companies Pfizer and Moderna had recently reported success in developing a corona vaccine. Your vaccine candidates have an effectiveness of at least 95 percent.
