Arthur Beterbiev called the reasons for Povetkin’s defeat in rematch with White

The undefeated IBF and WBC light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev commented on the result of the rematch between Alexander Povetkin and Dillian White, which took place last Saturday in Gibraltar.

Recall that White from the very first minute began to shake Povetkin with heavy punches, eventually finishing the Russian in the fourth round with a left hook.

“It was evident that White was boxing more cautiously, more collected. Povetkin is also aiming. He knows that in the first fight he did not succeed, he was knocked down in the first rounds,” Beterbiev said in an interview with REN-TV.

“White turned out to be more accurate at the end. The key hit was that he (Povetkin) missed. A different picture of the fight compared to the first.”

Note, earlier it became known that the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov presented Beterbiev with another luxurious Mercedes.
