Blood like tequila: Dwayne Johnson stabs his head

“The Rock” knows no pain. And so Dwayne Johnson insists on letting his fans participate in a sports injury. “We’re not playing games or reciting nursery rhymes here,” comments the “Fast & Furious” star on the bloody affair.

Muscle pack Dwayne Johnson injured his head while training. The actor and ex-wrestler shows his followers the bloody wound on his temple in a video clip on Instagram in the gym. According to this, he got a 50-pound chain, was hit in the head and now has to be sewn.

“We don’t play games or recite nursery rhymes here – it’s not called the ‘iron paradise’ for nothing, this is where it really gets down to business”, the athlete describes the scene in his comment on the clip. With a twinkle in his eye he adds the “house rules”: “Taste your blood, keep training and get sewn later.”

The 48-year-old tastes his blood in front of the mobile phone camera. “I can confirm that my blood tastes of Teremana (his own tequila), calluses and hot sauce,” he tells his followers – and wishes them “a productive week”.

Recovered from Covid-19

The Hollywood star has only been back in training for a few weeks. Last month, Johnson made public that he and his family had tested positive for the coronavirus but were feeling better again.

With more than 200 million followers on Instagram, Johnson is one of the most popular people on the network. The actor recently used his reach in social media to join the election campaign for the US presidency. So he made his support for challenger Joe Biden public.

Johnson, also known by his nickname “The Rock”, started a wrestling career in the 1990s. In addition, he came to film. In recent years his name has been linked to the “Fast & Furious” series, in which he has played the role of police officer Luke Hobbs since 2011.
