Chris Eubank Jr.’s words after defeating Marcus Morrison
BOXING

As we previously reported, Briton Chris Eubank Jr. fought his compatriot Marcus Morrison yesterday, defeating him by unanimous decision. After the fight, Chris said that he could knock out his opponent in the second round, but wanted to go the entire distance of the fight.

“I felt great during the fight and just boxed. I hit Markus well in the second round and could probably end the fight, but I wanted to spend more rounds and implement the things that we worked out with Roy during preparation. My rivals are a very tough guy, he has a strong chin and a big heart.

Usually, when I see an opportunity, I implement it, but this is where I wanted to work. I have been working with Roy for a year and a half, dedicated to learning and improving, but you cannot learn anything if you knock out an opponent in the second round, ”Yubank said.
