The actress allowed the ex to see her son and occasionally call up for 15 minutes.
Last year, Christina Ricci filed for divorce from James Hirdejen, with whom she had been in a relationship for over seven years. In the summer, the actress contacted the police and reported domestic violence, and later received a protective order to protect her from her husband. James also tried to get an injunction for Christina to approach him, but his request was denied. Since then, between the former spouses, a trial has continued, which was complicated by the issues of custody of their common child, six-year-old Frederick.
According to Page Six, the actress recently entered into a custody agreement with her ex-husband. At the end of April, she and her son travel to Vancouver, where they will begin work on a new project. Ricci and the child will live there for a while, and James was allowed to come and see his son. Christina also agreed to pay Hirdejen’s flight (economy) and accommodation expenses.
Under the new agreement, Ricci is given priority custody, and James, in addition to visits, is allowed 15-minute calls to his son three times a week. At the same time, Hirdejen is forbidden to talk to the child about “inappropriate things”, including his divorce from Christina.
Christina and James met in 2011 on the set of the television series Pan American, and in February 2012 they openly announced their romance. A year later, the celebrities got engaged, and in October 2013 they got married.
