Valentin Litvinchuk, the physical trainer of Ukrainian heavyweight champion Alexander Usik, denies rumors that the former united world lightweight champion Vasily Lomachenko, due to the defeat by Teofimo Lopez, had thoughts of taking his own life.

“I heard about some suicidal tendencies. This is nonsense. Vasya absolutely gets high, trains, goes fishing, runs 20 kilometers every day. Where are the suicidal tendencies here?” – said Valentin Litvinchuk in an interview with the “neKARATE” YouTube channel.

Note that information about Lomachenko’s suicidal thoughts was disseminated by Teofimo Lopez. According to the American boxer, he learned about this from his sources in Ukraine.

We will remind, Litvinchuk also said that, given the shoulder injury, Lomachenko chose the right tactics for the fight with Lopez.
