The wrestler who changed the role wants to play everyone at once.
Dave Batista, who until recently was a successful wrestler, after his success in the film “Guardians of the Galaxy” decided that now his calling is acting. Batista starred in Zach Snyder’s Army of the Dead and is also eager to get into Fast and Furious.
In addition, Batista has awakened his talent as a producer. He came up with the idea to shoot an analogue of The Expendables, but about wrestlers. On the screen next to him, he wants to see Dwayne Johnson and John Cena.
Now Batista is “asking” for the Star Trek franchise. In his Twitter, the actor hinted that he was simply born to the role of a representative of an aggressive extraterrestrial civilization.
Likewise. I was born to be a Klingon. Just sayin. 🤷🏻♂️ https://t.co/xV7jXpTMlk

At this point, the future of the Star Trek franchise is uncertain. Series have lost their popularity, and tapes rarely appear on the big screens. A smart restart, perhaps even with Batista, could have mend things.
