David Lemieux won an early victory in Mexico

The boxing evening ended in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

In the main event, ex-middleweight champion (72.6 kg), 32-year-old Canadian David Lemieux (42-4-0, 35 KO) met in the second middleweight (up to 76.2 kg) with 36-year-old Peruvian fighter David Zegarra ( 34-4-0, 21 KO).

Competitive confrontation, as expected, did not work out.

Lemieux, as the favorite from the start, went ahead, forcing the opponent to work from the defense, and by the end of the first round he knocked down. Zegarra was able to reach the break, but did not have time to recover.

What Lemieux used successfully.

In the 2nd round, Zegarra was on the floor twice more, after which he could no longer continue. Lemieux KO 2.
