Former world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder continues to insist that Tyson Fury and his team cheated with boxing gloves ahead of their second fight last February.

“A lot of people in boxing have done like this. [Уайлдер сначала закрывает глаза, затем уши и рот]… They heard about it, but said nothing. When you ask them about gloves, they are pretending to be fools. But you cannot fail to see it. Gloves don’t bend that way unless you have phenomenally flexible joints or something. Why the hell does a glove bend 90 degrees? And where does so much empty space come from? It’s impossible”.

According to Wilder, one of his coaches, Jay Dees, who was in Fury’s locker room while taping the Briton’s hands, did not notice the fraud due to his inexperience.

“Jay is still here. Jay is definitely with me. I understand what happened there. [в раздевалке], sometimes you lack the experience to pay attention to certain things. I had guys on the team like Russ [Анбер]… He tapes boxers and makes gloves himself, so he knows what to look at. “
