Former world heavyweight title contender Derek Chisora began collaborating with American specialist Buddy McGirt, who, in particular, trains the famous Russian light heavyweight champion Sergei Kovalev. The British boxer announced this on social networks.
“Building a team, preparing for war. This morning, working with Buddy McGirt,” – wrote Derek Chisora on his page in Instagram.

Recall that on May 1, Chisora will fight with former world champion Joseph Parker. Interestingly, the New Zealander also got a new coach on the eve of their fight, replacing Kevin Barry with Andy Lee.
Chisora spent his last fight in October last year, giving a competitive fight to the former leader of the cruiserweight, Alexander Usik, but losing by unanimous decision.
