The case will get its denouement.
Charged with assaulting a man in 2019, Marilyn Manson is ready to surrender to police. This was reported by the journalists of the CNN TV channel, citing sources in law enforcement agencies.
Two years ago, Manson was suspected of assaulting a videographer in Guildford during a concert. According to the laws of the state where everything happened, the musician faces a fine of up to 2 thousand dollars or prison for up to a year. At the moment, the name of the injured man is still kept secret. Among other things, no information has yet been received about his condition.
The security forces, in turn, were quick to note that the issuance of an arrest warrant had nothing to do with stories of violence against women.
Manson’s officials did not comment on the situation. It is known that all this time the vocalist did not visit the state to answer the accusations.
Earlier, the ex-assistant of Marilyn Manson, Ashley Walters, filed a lawsuit against the singer, accusing him of sexual and moral abuse. In the lawsuit, the victim stated that the musician deprived her of sleep, “threw dishes at her,” forced her to take drugs and harassed her.
