Dillian White – about Povetkin’s coronavirus: “There was no medical report, no photos of him from the hospital. I don’t know anything.”

British heavyweight contender Dillian White continues to doubt that Alexander Povetkin really fell ill with the coronavirus, rather than declaring his illness just to postpone their second fight.

“You never know. Never, never, never. If Povetkin fell ill with coronavirus, then everything is fair, and I’m wrong. But there was no medical report, no photos of him from the hospital. I don’t know anything.”

If he’s sick, no questions asked. But I think he just needs more time to prepare for the rematch, because he took a lot of damage in the fight. I believe that Povetkin needs more time to be 100 percent ready, because this time I will show a lot more.

I will have more time for training and preparation, but I was ready both last time and now. I got in great shape, sparred, felt strong and over-motivated. I haven’t had such feelings for about 2-3 years. Everything was good, “- said Dillian White in an interview with YouTube channel iFL TV.
