Dillian White took a convincing revenge from Povetkin by knocking out Alexander in the fourth round

A few minutes ago in Gibraltar ended a boxing show from the promotion company Matchroom Boxing, which led to a rematch between interim WBC heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin and Dillian White.

White started extremely briskly: already at the start Povetkin was dumbfounded either from a missed strike, or from a loss of balance. As in the first battle, the Briton annoyed the Russian with blows from the right. Despite a good start, White did not rush forward, preferring to act with an eye to the rear. At the end of the second round, Povetkin snapped well, after which he escaped from a powerful right-hand blow.

At the beginning of the third round, White slipped and found himself on the canvas – the referee rightly did not open the account. Soon Dillian touched Povetkin with a powerful blow towards him, but Alexander remained on his feet. At the end of this three-minute period, the Russian missed an unpleasant two.

At the start of the fourth round, White again shook Povetkin, but did not finish off immediately. However, the denouement came a little later: after a series of heavy blows, “Russian Knight” was on the floor. Povetkin struggled to his feet, but the referee, assessing the state of Alexander, gave the go-ahead.
