One of Dillian White’s main sparring partners, Jermarkus Polein, has shared his expectations of the Briton’s rematch with interim WBC heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin.
“I can see my buddy laying this guy down on canvas,” Polein told Pro Boxing Fans. “It’s amazing how much power Dillian can generate. He’s very strong and he learns new things every day.
But in this sport, any puncher has a chance. Anyone can do what happened in the first fight. That being said, we know very well that Dillian looked incredible that evening and, in my opinion, won that fight until he ran into the fatal blow.
With all that said, I expect to see the same. Dillian will step into the ring and look great and I have no doubt about his victory on March 27th. At the same time, Dillian is ready to go through all 12 rounds. He’s in great shape. “
