DJI has unveiled the DJI Pocket 2, a portable gimbal camera aimed at video bloggers. The novelty is expected to be on sale November 1 at a price of $ 349 for the basic kit and $ 499 for the kit with an additional lens, tripod and external microphone. The model is a small handle, topped with a camera, which is mounted on a three-axis gimbal. The camera received an enlarged image sensor 1 / 1.7 inches. The 20mm f / 1.8 lens has a wider angle of view than its predecessor, Osmo Pocket. The camera can shoot 4K video at 60 frames per second. The manufacturer also promises that HDR video recording will become available later. The new camera has radically improved audio recording, which uses 4 microphones. This allows the recording sound to be adjusted according to the direction of the camera. The camera can also compress the sound field when zooming the image. At the bottom of the camera, using a modular design, you can use compatible accessories, such as a Wi-Fi module, a 3.5 mm jack or a wireless microphone receiver. DJI Pocket 2 can be used as a standalone stabilized camera or it can be connected to a smartphone and controlled via a wireless connection or a physical connector. You can use the DJI Mimo app on a connected smartphone to edit and transfer photos.
