Donald Trump wants to annul the election results in Nevada if necessary by filing a lawsuit

US President Trump continues to try to change the outcome of the US elections in court. His lawsuits failed in Pennsylvania, Michigan and other states. He has no chance of success in Nevada either.

The election campaign team of incumbent US President Donald Trump is now also taking legal action in the US state of Nevada against the victory of President-elect Joe Biden. Republicans are calling for a court order to “declare Trump the election winner in Nevada” or, alternatively, to annul the election results and not confirm a winner. This emerges from the complaint filed by a group of Republican electors on Tuesday.

It states that “fraud and abuse are making said Nevada election results illegal”. The election was manipulated by a faulty machine to check the signatures of the voters. It goes on to say that official election observers were denied access to the polls.

“Parroting allegations without knowing the facts”

The lawsuit appears to be based on “parroting false allegations without firsthand knowledge of the facts,” said Dan Kulin, a spokesman for the Clark County Electoral Department in Nevada. Trump supporters would repeat allegations that the courts have already dismissed.

In Pennsylvania, Michigan and other states, lawsuits against the election results with similar allegations had so far failed. According to official figures, Biden was ahead of Trump in Nevada with 33,596 votes.
