Garmin has unveiled an update to its Venu 2 Series smartwatch line. The line will be available in two models – Venu 2 and Venu 2S in different body colors. The Venu 2 has a 45 mm case with a 22 mm strap, while the Venu 2S has a 40 mm case and an 18 mm strap mount. Both models can support monitoring of over 25 kinds of sports training. They provide 24/7 heart rate monitoring and gather information to analyze sleep quality. The watch will also give the user various tips to reduce stress levels and improve sleep. In case of emergencies, the watch can send information about the incident to selected contacts with the coordinates of the scene. The watch supports work with iOS and Android devices, and can provide contactless payment using the Garmin Pay system. The manufacturer claims to run the watch for 10-11 days when used without GPS and up to 8 hours when using GPS and the music player is running at the same time. The company has priced the new models at $ 399.9.
