Despite the challenges posed by the US sanctions, Huawei continues to move forward with several new products to launch. The company is expected to make a big presentation on May 19. It is known that the event will feature the Huawei FreeBuds 4 wireless in-ear headphones and the Huawei Watch 3. As for the FreeBuds 4, they will receive an updated design and will delight users with an improved noise canceling function, as well as increased battery life. In turn, the Huawei Watch 3 is predicted to run on the HarmonyOS operating system. The watch will receive an updated user interface, eSIM support and a large set of applications from the branded store. In addition, it is reported that Huawei is preparing to release a high-performance laptop MateBook 16, but whether it will be presented on May 19 is still unknown.
We add that Huawei reported a drop in revenue of 16.5% in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the same period last year. Perhaps the release of new devices will help stabilize Huawei’s position in the market.
