Insider on “special” Christmas Meghan and Harry: “Create their own traditions”

For the second time, the dukes are celebrating winter holidays away from the royal family.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrate their first Christmas in America. In 2017 and 2018, the couple celebrated the winter holidays with the royal family, and in 2019 – in Canada, where they left shortly before Megsit.

According to an insider for People magazine, now Meghan and Harry are settling in a new place and want to start their own family Christmas traditions. “This is Harry’s second Christmas away from England and Meghan wants it to be special for their family. They have a new home and they are creating their own traditions, ”the source shared.

Meghan and Harry recently shared a family Christmas card on social media. The photo was taken by Megan’s mother Doria Ragland, who now lives near the couple and helps them raise their one and a half year old son Archie. Representatives of the dukes noted that they decorated the house together, and their child chose the decorations.

On the postcard, Meghan and Harry are captured in front of a small English-style house – this is Archie’s playhouse, which the couple supposedly made for their son to order. As it turned out, the lodge is a mini-version of Queen Elizabeth II’s play cottage. Insiders from the couple’s circle have repeatedly noted that Harry yearns for his homeland. This is probably why the family decided to equip a small corner of England in the garden of their new home.
