In December last year, information appeared on the network that OnePlus was going to release a special version of the OnePlus Nord smartphone in the first half of 2021, but it seems that the announcement of the device was canceled.
What is known
According to German insider Max Jambor (Max Jambor), the manufacturer will not release a new product. The device was supposed to be named Nord SE (Special Edition) and collaborate with designer Joshua Vides. The insider does not name the reason for canceling the smartphone, but it can be assumed that the company decided to throw all its efforts into the development of OnePlus Nord 2.

Recall smartphone is codenamed Denniz. It should be the first device from the manufacturer that will not run on a Qualcomm chip. The novelty is credited with a 6-nanometer SoC MediaTek Dimensity 1200. In addition, OnePlus Nord 2 should receive an AMOLED screen with an increased refresh rate and a 4500-5000 mAh battery.
