Insider: Samsung will remove from sale Galaxy S20 FE based on Exynos 990 and replace it with a model with Snapdragon 865+ chip on board


Last week, information appeared on the network that Samsung is preparing to release the third version of the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone. Today it was confirmed by a reliable insider.

What is known

According to Ice Universe, we are talking about a model Galaxy S20 FE with Snapdragon 865+ processor on board. Such a device will replace the Galaxy S20 FE 4G with the Exynos 990 chip. After that, the Korean manufacturer will remove the proprietary SoC from production. Unfortunately, in which regions the new version of the Galaxy S20 FE will be sold, there is no information yet.

As for the other specifications of the smartphone, they will remain the same. The novelty will have 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display at 120 Hz, 6 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of ROM, 4500 mAh battery with fast 25-watt charging, triple camera 12 MP + 12 MP + 8 MP, stereo speakers and a plastic case with IP68 protection.

By the way, now the Galaxy S20 FE 4G costs $ 650. The Snapdragon 865+ version is likely to get the same price tag.
