WBO Featherweight Champion Jamel Herring has admitted that training with Terence Crawford has made him an even better fighter ahead of the fight against Carl Frampton in Dubai tomorrow.
“We sparred a lot and he’s a natural welterweight now. I enjoy working with him because if I can get through the tough rounds with him, then fights with guys my weight are mentally easier for you,” Herring said.
“Since we trained together, Bud has been there for every fight I have to make sure I don’t give up. It’s amazing when a guy like him is walking behind you, constantly pushing you towards the same goals for us.
He is one of the best fighters in the world. “Bud” feels that I am perfectly ready for this fight, and does not really worry about me, because he carefully looked after me during the preparation. Despite all the transfers, I still have hunger. I am ready and also excited about the upcoming fight. I have put in incredible work, and therefore will be ready when the starting gong sounds. “
