The scandal of many years ago flared up again.
Justin Timberlake’s former manager, Johnny Wright, wants Janet Jackson to forgive him for tearing up her suit during their infamous 2004 Super Bowl performance. The 54-year-old singer shared an inspiring quote on her social networks, the meaning of which was to choose healing, not inflicting pain. Then the ex-manager of Timberlake advised Jackson to follow this example and restore friendly relations with the 40-year-old performer. After that, the advice comment was removed. It is not yet clear if Janet deleted the comment or if Johnny changed his mind.
The fans of the star were furious with such advice and expressed their opinion on this matter. “Janet doesn’t owe Justin a damn thing. Especially her forgiveness after Justin refused to apologize to her for years. Respect black women, ”wrote one of them. Timberlake has made a public apology, but some fans claim that he did so specifically for his popularity. “I especially want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson separately, because I care about these women and respect them, and I know I have failed,” said the performer.
However, in part, the scandals around Justin contributed to his career. After breaking up with Britney Spears, the singer promoted his songs and albums under claims that Spears had broken his heart. In the music video for his 2002 hit Cry Me A River, he even used a Britney lookalike.
