Jean Pascal Fails Another Doping Test

According to Ring Magazine columnist Dan Raphael, a fourth banned substance was found in the body of former world light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal.

According to the source, Pascal, who had previously tested positive for three illegal substances (epitrenbolone, drostanolone and drostanolone metabolite), was also caught using erythropoietin (EPO). Note that the 38-year-old Canadian vehemently denied any intentional use of doping drugs, shifting the blame onto the physical training coach, but how Pascal is going to justify himself is now unknown, because the peculiarity of erythropoietin is that it can enter the athlete’s body only through injection.

Recall that initially Pascal (35-6-1-1 NC, 20 KOs) was supposed to hold a rematch on June 6 with ex-world champion in two weights Badu Jack, however, after it became known about the failed test on doping, the Canadian was removed from the fight, a little later he was replaced by the Venezuelan Dervin Colin.
