The actor broke into the Texas event Money in the Bank with a message about the resumption of his wrestling career.
44-year-old Suicide Squad star John Cena is making an epic comeback to the WWE after his long absence from the ring. He burst into the hall after the conclusion of the Texas event Money in the Bank and shouted into the crowd that he was back. He gave up his wrestling career in March 2020, taking up cinematic projects.
After completing filming for the sequel to Suicide Squad and the solo project The Peacemaker, John decided to remind the WWE and fans of himself. They greeted him with a standing ovation.
“I certainly wanted to come out here to let all you know that I’M BACK.”
