Former three-weight world champion Jorge Linares, who will face WBC lightweight title holder Devin Haney this Saturday, believes his opponent will be cautious throughout the fight.
“Fighting with me is a different level. I can demonstrate a lot of styles, I am fast and strong by nature. Even if I do not have a lot of knockout wins, Haney knows that I can hit.
I think he will run all evening, but I will wait for him and follow him. If he wants to fight at close range, I’ll be ready. He’s in big trouble on Saturday. He knows that I can do anything and that I have the timing to drop him.
I don’t need to say anything about what he chatted. I just think about myself and what I need to do, not what he says or does. I don’t like talking too much. I don’t need to talk to get the attention of fans or subscribers. I just have to go out and do my job, giving a great fight, “said Jorge Linares.
