Josh Warrington promises to retire if he loses to Mauricio Lara in a rematch

Former world featherweight champion Briton Josh Warrington says he will think about retirement if he loses the rematch with Mexican Mauricio Lara.

“There’s no point in hanging out here if I can’t beat this guy. Regarding my own mentality, it doesn’t suit me that someone else will take over Mauricio until I deal with him.

I need to know that I can overcome this obstacle. It will be a victory in a dominant form after twelve rounds or a knockout, but I have to do it for myself. If I don’t win, I’ll just leave. That’s all, ”Warrington said.

As a reminder, Mauricio and Josh had a fight on February 13th at the SSE Arena in London. The victory by technical knockout in the ninth round was won by the representative of Mexico.
