“Denver Clan” star dies aged 93

Peter Mark Richman has been in front of the camera for more than 60 years and has participated in countless productions. His most famous role is that of Andrew Laird in the “Denver Clan”. Now the American TV star has died at the age of 93.

The American actor Peter Mark Richman is dead. He died at the age of 93 under natural circumstances in Woodland Hills, California, reports the US celebrity portal “Deadline”. In the course of his long career, which began in the 1950s, Richman has reportedly more than 500 appearances in a wide variety of TV series and films.

One of his greatest roles was that of Andrew Laird in the hit series “The Denver Clan,” which he played from 1981 to 1984. Richman was also involved in “Starship Enterprise – The Next Century”, “Battlestar Galactica”, “Beverly Hills, 90210” and “Knight Rider”, to name just a few.

Richman also made a name for himself on Broadway and in some movies. His breakthrough came in 1956 thanks to a role in William Wyler’s “Alluring Temptation” with Gary Cooper. His further work ranged from horror films such as “Friday the 13th Part VIII – Manhattan Death Trap” to comedies such as “The Naked Cannon 2½” with Leslie Nielsen.
