Hollywood actress Naomi Watts spoke about her experiences with her father’s death from a drug overdose when she was seven years old. The celebrity told the details of her life in an interview for the Australian version of Vogue magazine.
It turned out this childhood trauma is still a big part of it, and the 52-year-old is still going through a recovery phase.
“Because of this, you are losing part of yourself. It seems to you that you are not fully formed yet, ”says the actress.
Watts also noted that due to the divorce of her parents, she practically does not have pictures with her father, and the whole history of the relationship forced the actress to spend a large period of her life in psychotherapy.
“You have to understand, I have maybe three photos of my father and maybe two memories,” said the celebrity.
Naomi Watts began her career in 1986, starring in the film “For Love Only”. In total, over 35 years of work in cinema, she managed to star in 183 projects, the most famous of which are: “Twin Peaks”, “Painted Veil” and “Mulholland Drive”.
One of Watts’ upcoming films is the Penguin Bloom drama, which follows the recovery of a girl with a broken spine and her friendship with a magpie chick.
