Oleksandr Usik spoke about a possible challenger duel with Khrgovich

Mandatory contender for the WBO heavyweight title, Alexander Usik, explained why he could not agree on a fight with Joe Joyce, and also stated that he was not interested in a challenger fight on the IBF line against Philip Hrgovich.

“The Joyce team is not happy with the division of the fee. They have filed some kind of appeal. Boxing reminds me of our politics now. Sheer idle talk – everything is just“ be-be-be. ”Let’s fight, box and that’s it.

The fight with Khrgovich is not interesting at all. I’m not going to box for any challengers. Generally not interesting. Seriously. I am ready to box with everyone, but they will again put me in a position like box for the status of a challenger. Again? I’ve boxed for this twice already.

I think I will have a working summer like always. In my eight years as a professional, I had only one summer vacation. Do you know how I assess what is happening now? It’s just that the Almighty gives me the opportunity to really prepare, pick up a weight and overtake it in a good mass in order to work hard, “said Alexander Usik in an interview with the YouTube channel USYK17.

We would like to remind that Usyk’s team is currently negotiating a fight with WBA / WBO / IBF champion Anthony Joshua.
