Oppo Find X2 Smartphone Review

Oppo Find X2 GADGETS

One of the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturers, the company Oppo, for the third time trying to take root in the Russian market, and each time this attempt falls on the financial crisis. Let’s see if it can stay longer this time. Attention to its very different products Oppo decided to attract with the help of two newest smartphones series Find, undeservedly forgotten was with the release of the flagship line Reno. It is not worth burying this family, the popularity of which was once an innovative model Oppo Find 5, yet.

The range was always filled with models designed to demonstrate the most advanced technology available to companies. Last year a very interesting Oppo Find X was launched, and this time the older model Oppo Find X2 Pro even got the first place in the famous mobile camera rating DxOmark. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to get acquainted with this amazing novelty: the Pro version will not be delivered to the Russian market. But we already sell the usual version of Oppo Find X2, and today we will consider it in all details.

Appearance Oppo Find X2

The design of the novelty received pleasant and attractive, with curved sides of the screen. Delicate appearance, a fairly thin body, which is visually even thinner due to the sloping backrest. As a result, it wins on all fronts against the beautiful, but infinitely heavy and thick last year’s innovative flagship Oppo reno 10x zoom. In the hand, however, to hold such a wide “shovel” is still difficult: a smartphone weighing 192 grams, and with such a wide body, is clearly not suitable for any hand or pocket. Case here, unlike the aforementioned Oppo reno 10x zoom, thinner and easier, but still, of course, it further increases and thickens the size of an already very large mobile device.

The side metal frame in the fingers does not slide, and the back wall, made of glass, to the extent opposing the rapid emergence of fingerprints. At the same time, there is no beautiful matte, as was done now in the OnePlus 7T Pro and Honor View 30 Pro, the glass is smooth and shiny, everything is reflected in it as if in a mirror. The design of the block with cameras and flash on the back is the most standard. It’s a good thing it didn’t have to be placed in the middle: that’s how your fingers don’t overlap the lenses when taking landscaping photos. For the front camera, thank God, you didn’t have to build a retractable module (which would have required you to make an opening in the case to retract it). Here we went the right way, letting a few pixels flow directly into the screen sensor, and the hole does not interfere with anyone. Unfortunately, the side buttons are installed on opposite sides, which leads to erroneous pressing, but it’s right Oppo business card, which and the smartphones Realme and OnePlus (all of them are relatives of the same concern BBK) uses this inconvenient configuration of keys on different sides.

The keys are thin and pretty hard. The fingerprint scanner here is subscreen. It works fast enough, almost like a classic one, but still the finger has to be delayed longer, the scanner cannot cope with wet fingers, and therefore it is not clear at all why this technology is needed. Today, it is ideal to install the scanner on its side (preferably with integration into the power button), as Honor has done in its new View 30 Pro.
