Interim WBC Lightweight Champion Ryan Garcia was not impressed by the division’s full-fledged titleholder Devin Haney’s performance against Jorge Linares.

The day before, Haney defeated the aging Venezuelan ex-champion by unanimous decision, but at the same time lost several final rounds to his opponent and was on the verge of knockdown.

After the fight, Garcia left a message to his divisional rival on social media.

“Nice fight, but I’m sorry Devin, I would knock you out, put you to sleep,” Ryan Garcia said in a video that he posted on his Instagram story.

We will remind, earlier the absolute champion of the lightweight division Teofimo Lopez reacted to Haney’s victory over Linares.
