Samsung has released a monitor that can work on its own

Samsung introduced the Samsung Smart Monitor – a universal solution for work, study and entertainment. The model is presented in two variants: the older M7 has a 32-inch screen, supports Ultra-High Definition resolution and is equipped with a number of interesting features. For example, it has an integrated entertainment center similar to those used in the Smart TV platform in Samsung TVs. Thanks to the included remote control, the user can launch Smart TV applications without using a computer or other connected devices. The remote has dedicated buttons to launch the most frequently used services, such as Netflix or YouTube. There is a USB-C port on the monitor body, which can be used to transfer data from external sources, display the screen of mobile devices or charge 65W devices. The monitor allows you to run Microsoft 365 applications without connecting to a computer due to the built-in Wi-FI adapter. Users can connect their mobile devices with a simple tap using the Tap View app and Apple AirPlay 2. When connected to a monitor, the DeX docking station delivers desktop-like functionality. The younger M5 model will come in 27 “and 32” screen sizes. The monitor is already available in the markets of the USA, Canada and China, the timing of its appearance in Russia will be announced later.
