Taras Shelestyuk challenged Crawford: “I believe that our fight would become a contender for the fight of the year”

Undefeated welterweight Taras Shelestyuk has expressed a desire to fight against WBO title holder Terence Crawford, who stopped Kell Brook in four rounds last weekend. The Ukrainian challenged the stellar American boxer on his Instagram page, stating that Crawford’s team had previously abandoned the fight with him.

“I have always boxed with the strongest in amateur boxing. I also want to box with the best in the pro ring. I believe that our fight with Terence Crawford would be a contender for the fight of the year. Terence and his promoter often complain that no one wants to be with him. I was always ready for a fight, only they did not express a desire to fight me “, – wrote Taras Shelestyuk.

Note that the 34-year-old Shelestyuk fought his last fight in January this year, defeating Luis Alberto Veron by unanimous decision.
