Terence Crawford explains why Brook’s win confirms his pound-for-pound status

WBO welterweight champion (up to 66.7 kg), American Terence Crawford (37-0-0, 28 KO) believes that the performance against Briton Kell Brook (39-3-0, 27 KO) last Saturday proved him once again the status of the best fighter in the world.

“Of course, I have confirmed my status. I showed why I am regarded as the best in the world regardless of weight class.

Consider my size, I have already passed two divisions. Plus, I stopped everyone I met at welterweight. It says a lot, ”said the fighter.

Earlier in an interview, Crawford compared Brook to his previous rival, Lithuanian Egis Kavaliauskas (22-1-1, 18 KO).
