Title fight between Yuri Kashinsky and Arsen Gulamiryan canceled

WBA Super World Heavyweight Champion Arsen Gulamiryan will not be able to defend his title against Russian Yuri Kashinsky, which was scheduled for December 13, as the Frenchman was injured.

“The fight on December 13 will not take place due to the injury at Gulamiryan. As far as I know, they still want to box with me, and our fight should take place in 2021. So far, like this,” the RIA Novosti portal quoted Kashinsky as saying. …

Recall that 34-year-old Kashinsky is ranked tenth in the WBA rating and was chosen by Gulamiryan’s team as an opponent for the voluntary defense of the belt. Exactly a year ago, Kashinsky fought in an IBF qualifier, but lost by decision, stopping a step away from the fight for the main title. The Russian boxer has 19 victories (17 early) with one defeat.
