Tony Bellew: “If White loses to Povetkin, it will be a nightmare”

Former world champion Tony Bellew believes that the career of British heavyweight champion Dillian White could be in great jeopardy if he loses in a rematch with Alexander Povetkin.

“Perhaps after the rematch with Povetkin, White will have problems, since no one knows what this fight will be. Probably, Povetkin will make this fight closer, because this will be their second meeting. I don’t know. If White loses, it will be nightmare, anything can happen in this weight class.

I believe that one blow was not enough for White to defeat Povetkin. He dropped it twice and was able to stop it faster than any other opponent before. He performed well, but then lost concentration for a second and it was over. Everything went to the exchange of hooks, and White missed a blow that he did not see. It’s devastating, but I strongly believe that White will return and win. Nevertheless, in this fight he will put his career on the line, “Tony Bellew said in an interview with YouTube channel iFL TV.

We will remind, Bellew also said that he did not want White to fight with Deontay Wilder.
