Vasily Lomachenko is not going to fight Stevenson in the second featherweight division: “I remain lightweight and will close unfinished business”
BOXING

Former world champion in three weight classes Vasily Lomachenko claims that he will continue to fight in the lightweight division and is not going to return to the second featherweight division for a fight with Shakur Stevenson.

“Stevenson is boxing featherweight and I am lightweight. I said I would not go down, I remain lightweight and will close my cases here because they are unfinished. I decided I would not go down. Welcome to a light weight.

We have a lot of top fighters. I think lightweight is the most interesting weight class in the world right now as there are many big names, skilled fighters. We all know these names. The champions are Lopez and Haney, but we have Ryan Garcia, Linares, Gervonta Davis and me, “Vasily Lomachenko said in an interview with the SNOWQUEENLA YouTube channel.

We will remind, Lomachenko also said that he would not ask Teofimo Lopez for revenge.
