Why Liam Neeson won’t appear on Obi-Wan Kenobi

Hayden Christensen is slated to return to the project as Darth Vader.

Oscar nominee Liam Neeson explained why he will not star in a TV series dedicated to Obi-Wan Kenobi. An experienced actor gave an interview on this topic during a performance at Jimmy Kimmel Life.

For the first time that Neeson could play a role in the project, rumors began to spread a few months ago. In past projects, viewers have been shown ghostly images of missing characters. Among them was Neeson’s hero. At the same time, the audience took this hint as an opportunity for a comeback.

For fans of Liam, this news was truly happy. However, they obviously rejoiced early and in vain: Neeson will not appear in the Star Wars series.

“They just don’t have enough money,” the actor quotes Deadline.

In turn, to at least a little consolation to fans of the saga, Neeson stated: “I heard that Hayden Christensen is returning to the role of Darth Vader.”

The host did not believe that Neeson would not play Qui-Gon Jinn. He stated that with the acting skills that Neeson has, he could easily lie to everyone.
